PESI partnership PESI consists of 40 full and ten non-contracted partners participating in the Focal Point work programme. The non-contracted partners are checklist associates across Europe, involved with the PESI consortium on a voluntary basis. These partners are referred to as associate Focal Points. Expert Networks PESI unites the two major European experts networks on marine and animal taxonomy integrated in the Society for the Management of Electronic Biodiversity Data (SMEBD). Focal Point Networks PESI unites three European Focal Points Networks:
